Nayatra

Nayatra is a succubus thief, covert operative, and King's Knight recruited by In-gong. Initially approached through knowledge she finds deeply alarming, she becomes the faction's principal information specialist, locates the imprisoned gandharva, supports the northern coalition, and enters the new reign as a member of the Demon King's Intelligence Agency.

Biography

Rescue and Recruitment

In-gong expects to find Nayatra enslaved because that was her condition in the alternate game history he remembers, but encounters her a year earlier as a free operative surveying Takar's slave trade. She evades him with practiced stealth, then enters an auction where she appears to be targeting a jewel box she values. During a barbarian attack, In-gong and Carack forcibly remove her from the fighting; In-gong then uses the magically significant hidden name Rafiseria and detailed knowledge of her past to stop her from fleeing. Nayatra is wary and frightened by how much he knows, but agrees to hear his offer after he promises an explanation and returns the box. (Chapters 112–117)

The resulting recruitment is useful to Nayatra but not wholly free of pressure: In-gong offers the box as payment, promises proper treatment, and assigns her to information work, while his unexplained knowledge and royal position make refusal difficult. Nayatra nevertheless accepts the magical appointment as a King's Knight and soon begins choosing to serve beyond its minimum terms. Though anxious about being taken to a battlefield, she steadies herself and joins the Evian campaign, guards Felicia, tends to In-gong's daily needs, and extracts information from the captured Paratus after his repeated attempts to resist. By the time the group returns to the palace, she has moved from a guarded new hire into a trusted member of the household. (Chapters 117, 119, 124, 131–135, and 148)

Intelligence Work and the New Court

Nayatra quickly becomes the person In-gong relies on for information unavailable through ordinary military reports. She gathers updates on every major royal faction while he is unconscious, then spends months outside the palace investigating the gandharva's confinement. She cannot discover their sealed crime, but she finds their hidden location, establishes unauthorized contact, persuades them to cooperate with In-gong, and delivers a bead containing divinity. That access becomes critical after the black sun damages In-gong's soul: Nayatra reaches the coalition, leads the emergency party through the concealed transportation route, and reassures the others that the gandharva already regard him as a hope for release. (Chapters 150, 175, 202, and 216–222)

Her field role develops alongside the intelligence work. Nayatra supports Vandal with secondary magic during the frost-worm battle, treats him afterward, and later rides his enlarged apostle form while casting against the red dragon's black beasts. In-gong's Call surrounds her with a new surge of magic power, but the narration does not explicitly call her an apostle. After the war she appears in the neat clothing of the Demon King's Intelligence Agency and prepares to create another organization. She also openly pursues a place beside the new demon king as a concubine, approaching the political difficulty with the same realism and confidence she brings to covert assignments. Appearance and personality

Nayatra is a beautiful, pale-skinned succubus of roughly Felicia's height, with blue eyes, two yellow horns, and a long ponytail reaching her hips. Early descriptions call her hair pink, while the Conquest-empowered scene calls it purple; the corpus does not explain whether this is a change, an effect of the power, or inconsistent color wording. She first appears in the current timeline wearing a fitted black dress with high side openings and later adopts neat intelligence-agency clothing. (Chapters 112, 114, 226, and 231)

She is controlled, observant, and difficult to surprise, earning an “ice” reputation and maintaining calm even during her abduction from the auction. Her acting is convincing enough to invent an emotional family history instantly, while her professional caution makes her disappear when an unknown man calls her name. Under that composure she is responsive to praise, curious about romance and fairy-tale ideas, and ambitious enough to pursue a politically difficult place in In-gong's court without confusing confidence with certainty. Powers and abilities

Stealth, theft, and assassination skills

Nayatra is trained as a thief and assassin, specializing in infiltration rather than direct combat. She can disappear from a crowded street without showing alarm, enter stealth deeply enough to vanish from In-gong's mini-map, track a target through a chaotic attack, and carry a dagger when open fighting begins. Her familiarity with markets and ability to control her reactions support covert work. These skills do not make her a front-line fighter: Felicia categorizes her as a non-combatant when choosing an apostle, and Nayatra relies on stronger allies for protection in large battles. The corpus does not name her stealth technique or explain its power source. (Chapters 113–117 and 167)

Intelligence and covert diplomacy

Information gathering is Nayatra's primary specialty. She maps royal movements, interrogates a resistant captive, spends months tracing a magically hidden people, and makes contact without official authorization. Her work combines observation, deception, social access, and physical infiltration; the gandharva investigation succeeds in location and diplomacy but fails to uncover the protected crime, demonstrating that even her methods cannot break every sealed secret. The unauthorized contact also risks implicating In-gong, and he stops further investigation because he considers the danger to her too high. (Chapters 135, 150, 175, and 202)

Magic and the King's Knight bond

Nayatra can use secondary and healing magic while protected by Vandal, treating him after the frost-worm battle and casting from his back or shoulders during moving combat. Her appointment as a King's Knight places the Conquest Coat of Arms on her and allows In-gong's Call to draw her across distance. At the red-dragon battle, that bond fills her with mighty magic power, but the exact increase, duration, and new spell access are not described. Unlike Vandal, she is not explicitly said to be reborn as an apostle, so the surge is not treated as a confirmed apostle transformation. (Chapters 117, 207–208, and 226–227)

Nayatra is consistently called a succubus, and later evidence establishes that succubi are unusually sensitive to pheromones. The explanation of her magically binding hidden name instead uses the term “nightmare”; the corpus does not clarify whether this is a subtype, synonym, or terminology inconsistency. Hearing the name Rafiseria shocks her and contributes to her compliance, but the narrative does not show Nayatra using the name as an independent power. (Chapters 115, 202, and 208)

Nayatra carries an unnamed dagger and treasures a small white jewel box decorated with red gems. In-gong takes the box from the attacked auction store and gives it to her as the down payment for joining him. Nayatra's claim that it belonged to a dead older sister is exposed as a lie because she is an only child; the corpus never supplies the box's true origin or later custody. In-gong also gives her a bottle of Heavenly Wine after the gandharva mission, but no generated item article is assigned to any of these objects. (Chapters 115–117 and 202)
