The Primordial Profound Ark is an ancient vessel capable of crossing immense distances and carrying an independent world inside itself. Its periodic appearance above Divine Phoenix City draws the Seven Nation Ranking Tournament and the Four Sacred Grounds into repeated expeditions, but Yun Che is the first known person of the era to gain lasting control of it.

History

The ark appears above Divine Phoenix City on a cycle measured in centuries. Its entrance opens only briefly, and earlier expeditions fail to discover a stable method of controlling either its route or its interior. During the expedition following the Seven Nation Ranking Tournament, betrayal leaves Yun Che and Feng Xue'er trapped aboard when the exit closes. Yun Che protects Xue'er and gives her the means to escape, while he remains inside as the vessel begins another spatial journey. (Chapters 365–471)

The ark eventually carries Yun Che to the Illusory Demon Realm. Within its internal world he encounters Hong'er, forms the sword contract that creates the Heaven Smiting Devil Slayer Sword, and begins turning the vessel from an uncontrollable ruin into a personal refuge. The Jade of the Nine Suns later supplies the enormous energy needed to revive its spatial functions. (Chapters 476–497 and 626–627)

Properties and use

The ark contains a vast internal world rather than a simple cabin. It can shelter people, preserve supplies, and isolate battles or treatment from the surrounding realm. Once powered and controlled, it can tear through space between distant regions, making journeys that ordinary profound arks or teleportation formations cannot match. Yun Che uses it as transport, sanctuary, and an emergency means of escape throughout the lower-realm and God Realm conflicts. (Chapters 476–497, 626–698, and 1047–1068)

Its spatial movement is not perfectly precise or costless. Early voyages occur without Yun Che's control, and restoring the vessel consumes a treasure as concentrated as the Jade of the Nine Suns. Even after revival, its use depends on sufficient energy and Hong'er's cooperation with the internal world. It is later supplemented rather than replaced by the more flexible World Piercer.
