Yan Two

Yan Two is the second of the three ancient Yama ancestors who submit to Yun Che in the Bone Sea of Eternal Darkness.

Biography

Eight hundred thousand years to a chosen death

Yan Two and his brothers sustain themselves for roughly eight hundred thousand years within the Bone Sea, gaining immense darkness while losing the ability to leave its support safely. Yun Che's Eternal Calamity of Darkness suppresses them and transforms furious opposition into absolute service. Yan Two fights through the campaigns against the Eastern and Western divine regions, finally confronting Mo Beichen with his brothers when the Half-God threatens their master. Their bodies are torn apart, but they divert the attack long enough for Yun Che to escape. Yan Two accepts death peacefully, declaring that their long lives have already been more than enough. Appearance and personality

Yan Two is a withered ancient man enveloped in dense Yama darkness. He shares his brothers' rough manners and delight in serving Yun Che, but often appears the calmest of the three. At death he neither boasts nor mourns, measuring the success of their final mission solely by their master's survival. (Chapters 1683–1690 and 1947)

Abilities and cultivation

Yan Two is a level-ten Divine Master whose accumulated Yama energy lets him overwhelm ordinary Divine Masters and contend with Dragon Gods. Eternal Calamity of Darkness controls his inherited power completely, and the gulf to Mo Beichen remains insurmountable in direct combat. His final defense works through the combined sacrifice of all three ancestors. (Chapters 1683–1690 and 1944–1947)
