Mu Yubai
Mu Yubai is the heir of the Illusory Demon Realm's Mu Family, brother of Mu Yurou, and maternal uncle of Yun Che.
Biography
The uncle at Yun Che's return
Mu Yubai is among the first members of Yun Che's maternal family to confront the mystery surrounding his arrival in the Illusory Demon Realm. Once the blood relationship is established, his suspicion becomes outspoken protection and pride. He stands with Mu Feiyan and Yun Qinghong against Duke Huai's faction, fights during the centennial ceremony, and helps secure the loyalist families while the Little Demon Empress is absent. After her return ends the rebellion, Yubai remains part of the family circle waiting through Yun Che's separations and crises. (Chapters 506–575, 610–636, and 854)
Appearance and personality
Mu Yubai is a vigorous middle-aged warrior with an imposing family resemblance and a direct, sometimes explosive manner. He is proud, blunt, and quick to challenge anyone he considers suspicious, but equally quick to display warmth once Yun Che is accepted as his nephew. (Chapters 506–575)
Abilities and cultivation
As Mu Family heir, Yubai is a high-level Sovereign Profound Realm practitioner trained in the Guardian Family's ice arts. He can fight among Demon Imperial City's elite and command clan forces, but he remains below his patriarch father and far below the Golden Crow-empowered Little Demon Empress.
