Biography

The flawless disciple exposed

Mu Hanyi cultivates an image of elegance, generosity, and unquestioned excellence, becoming the expected favorite when Mu Xuanyin announces that she will select a direct disciple. Yun Che's superior response from the Heavenly Netherfrost Lake overturns that future. Beneath his public grace, Hanyi's desperation leads him to manipulation and murder, including arranging his younger brother's death and trying to exploit the sect master's expectations. Mu Xuanyin exposes the contradiction between his cultivated persona and private ambition, then leaves Yun Che to administer the horned-dragon poison that kills him. (Chapters 974–1001 and 1044–1045)

Appearance and personality

Mu Hanyi is handsome, white-robed, graceful, and exceptionally skilled at making others feel valued. That social perfection is deliberate. He is intelligent and disciplined, but also consumed by the need to remain first; once Yun Che threatens that identity, courtesy gives way to ruthless calculation and fear of exposure. Abilities and cultivation

Hanyi reaches the Divine Tribulation Realm and ranks among the Snow Song Realm's foremost young practitioners. He possesses strong ice cultivation, movement, perception, and the polished combat foundation of a divine hall disciple. Yun Che cannot defeat that realm through ordinary force at the time and relies on the Dragon God Domain and horned-dragon poison, demonstrating both Hanyi's raw advantage and his vulnerability to surprise and soul pressure.
