Biography

Service during the Moon God crisis

Lian Yue serves Xia Qingyue during the most secretive phase of her reign, responding immediately when the emperor changes robes, departs unexpectedly, or summons the Golden Moon God. She helps maintain the controlled public face behind Qingyue's private turmoil over Yun Che. Her service ends with the Moon God Realm's destruction, which consumes the imperial household and leaves later accounts to remember its attendants only through that vanished court. Appearance and personality

Lian Yue is a poised female attendant trained to react quickly without questioning imperial commands aloud. Brief flashes of alarm show that she recognizes the danger surrounding Qingyue, but discipline keeps her focused on duty. (Chapters 1416 and 1525)
