Lei Qianfeng

Lei Qianfeng is the sect master of the Black Soul Divine Sect and ruler of the Darkya Realm.

Biography

Wood-spirit trafficker and target of revenge

Lei Qianfeng builds his realm's power through coercion, black-market influence, and the capture and sale of wood spirits. A family connection to the Divine Martial Realm gives his sect protection far beyond Darkya's natural standing. Disguised as Ling Yun, Yun Che dismantles that network after witnessing its crimes against He Lin and He Ling. He manipulates rivalries inside the sect, exposes Lei Qianfeng's dependence on outside patrons, and turns the sect master's own pursuit into a trap. Lei Qianfeng's death completes Yun Che's revenge for the royal wood-spirit siblings and breaks Black Soul's control over the realm. (Chapters 1084–1110 and 1259–1261)

Appearance and personality

Lei Qianfeng has the oppressive manner of a ruler accustomed to fear rather than loyalty. He is suspicious, brutal, and intensely protective of status, responding to losses with rage and collective punishment. His confidence rests heavily on family influence and the Divine Martial Realm connection, making him less secure once those protections fail. (Chapters 1084–1110)

Abilities and cultivation

As Darkya Realm's ruler, Lei Qianfeng possesses divine-way cultivation, lightning-related power, strong perception, and command over the Black Soul Divine Sect's halls. He greatly exceeds Yun Che's ordinary level during their first contact, so Yun Che relies on disguise, poison, surprise, and divided enemies rather than a fair confrontation.
