Biography

Flight and final entrustment

He Lin meets Yun Che while fleeing the hunters who have devastated the royal wood spirits. His instinctive trust draws Yun Che into the survivors' refuge, but Lei Qianfeng's forces close in before the clan can escape. Mortally cornered, He Lin gives Yun Che his royal Wood Spirit Orb and asks him to find He Ling, sacrificing the future he wanted so his sister and bloodline might still be protected. (Chapters 1075–1077 and 1112–1119)

Appearance and personality

He Lin is a young wood-spirit boy with the race's pure aura and gentle features. He is frightened but remarkably perceptive, hopeful enough to trust kindness, and courageous when the lives of his remaining people demand more than escape. (Chapters 1075–1077)

Abilities and cultivation

His royal wood-spirit blood grants extreme vitality, natural sensitivity, and a uniquely pure Wood Spirit Orb. He is not an experienced fighter, and that precious constitution makes him a target for cultivators seeking life energy rather than a match for them. (Chapters 1075–1077 and 1112–1119)

• He Ling is his elder sister and the person he asks Yun Che to find.
• Yun Che is the stranger he trusts with his inheritance and last request.
• Lei Qianfeng and the Darkya Soul Sect are responsible for the destruction surrounding his people.
