Fen Daoqi

Fen Daoqi is the Burning Moon Realm's veteran imperial counselor and the leader who preserves its surviving forces after Fen Daojun's death.

Biography

From defeated counselor to loyal commander

Fen Daoqi advises Fen Daojun during Yun Che's invasion and understands sooner than most that resistance after the god emperor's death would only erase Burning Moon. He submits, guides the surviving Moon Eaters into Yun Che's armies, and helps the Northern Divine Region conquer the realms that confined it. When Mo Beichen offers the God Realm a choice between surrender and destruction, Daoqi refuses both political safety and Chi Wuyao's order to withdraw. He declares that even a futile death will preserve Emperor Yun's dignity, then fights with the remaining northern forces until the Half-God destroys them. Appearance and personality

Fen Daoqi is a weathered elder whose controlled speech reflects long service at a dangerous court. He is pragmatic enough to surrender when further resistance serves nobody, yet that pragmatism is not cowardice. Once Yun Che grants Burning Moon freedom and purpose, Daoqi's gratitude becomes a loyalty he willingly seals with death. (Chapters 1665–1670 and 1951)

Abilities and cultivation

As a Moon Eater and senior Burning Moon leader, Fen Daoqi wields high-level darkness profound energy and can command the realm's surviving elite formations. He is powerful within the Divine Master order but cannot harm Mo Beichen meaningfully. His final stand is explicitly a defense of honor rather than a claim that their combined power can defeat a Half-God. (Chapters 1665–1670 and 1944–1951)
