Dian Rahu
Dian Rahu is the Boundless Divine Regent, ruler of one of the Abyss's Kingdoms of God and father of Dian Jiuzhi.
Biography
Boundless ruler and old companion
Dian Rahu appears among the Abyss's supreme rulers as a lion-like man with a thunderous reputation. In youth he attends a Pure Land gathering alongside Meng Kongchan, Hua Fuchen, and the other future Divine Regents, where all of them are defeated by the Sword Fairy. He retains close bonds with those contemporaries even when disagreement over their children and political choices turns anger personal. As Boundless Divine Regent he handles kingdom and Pure Land affairs directly, indulges Dian Jiuzhi's devotion to Hua Caili, and remains active while the older rulers struggle to reconcile friendship with the dangers surrounding the younger generation. Appearance and personality
Dian Rahu is a broad, lion-like man whose name and voice strike observers with the force of thunder. He is blunt, forceful, quick to anger, and equally quick to laugh. His rough exterior does not erase long loyalty to his peers or affection for his son, though both can make political disagreements more volatile. (Chapters 1960, 2066, and 2161)
Abilities and cultivation
As a Divine Regent, Dian Rahu stands at the summit of the Boundless Kingdom's profound inheritance and among the Abyss's strongest living rulers. His youthful defeat by the Sword Fairy shows that even Divine Regents can be surpassed by exceptional sword cultivation, while his present full combat power has not been disclosed in a decisive battle.
