Hua Fuchen

Hua Fuchen is the Heart Painter Divine Regent of the Heaven Breaker Kingdom of God and the father of Hua Caili.

Biography

Regent and protective father

Hua Fuchen receives Dian Rahu and Dian Jiuzhi with the ease of an established ruler, while privately relying on his sister Hua Qingying to guide Caili toward a breakthrough. He permits his sheltered daughter to travel so that she can learn the Abyss beyond palace walls, but the dangers she encounters and her attachment to Yun Che sharpen his fear that her life will repeat the tragedy of her mother. When Caili asks him to cancel her engagement to Dian Jiuzhi, Fuchen refuses despite understanding her feelings. He regards the match as an obligation binding kingdoms and believes Yun Che’s uncertain identity cannot protect her from the Pure Land’s politics. His opposition is therefore paternal and political rather than casual cruelty, and he remains an active Divine Regent as those tensions continue. (Chapters 2068 and 2171)

Appearance and personality

Fuchen looks like a refined, youthful nobleman with little interest in martial life, an appearance sharply at odds with the name and power that awe the Abyss. He is calm, cultivated, affectionate toward Caili, and capable of inflexible decisions when he believes her safety or kingdom is at stake. (Chapters 1960–1961)

Abilities and cultivation

As a Venerable Divine Regent, Fuchen stands among the Abyss’s highest cultivators. His epithet and authority identify a profound artistic inheritance, but his direct scenes emphasize presence and governance rather than a named combat technique or exact numbered level. (Chapters 1960 and 1995)
