An invalid becomes emperor

Cang Shuhe spends much of her life secluded by a profound condition that makes her seem politically irrelevant. Chi Wuyao instead recognizes her intelligence and orders Cang Shitian to transfer the Deep Sea throne to her. Restored and installed with Yun Che's authority, Shuhe quickly proves a precise administrator, stabilizing the Southern Divine Region and turning an overlooked royal sister into one of the new empire's most effective rulers. Appearance and personality

Shuhe is delicate and long carried the pallor of chronic illness, but her frailty conceals a keen, composed mind. She reads motives quickly, speaks with restrained warmth, and approaches both governance and her feelings for Yun Che with deliberate patience. (Chapters 1866–1873)

Abilities and cultivation

Her early illness limits conventional cultivation, and her rise is based primarily on political intelligence rather than personal force. After recovery and enthronement she gains the resources and authority of a king realm, while stronger enforcers handle its greatest martial threats. (Chapters 1866–1873)
