Glasha Mistborn

Glasha Mistborn is an orc cleric whose work as a Chronicler centers on discovering and interpreting the past. Her historical knowledge, magic, and political judgment make her an important guide to Eryk’s party in the Caliphate. She takes a particular interest in ancient artifacts and in Mynasha’s bid to become Supreme. (Chapters 284–285, 290–291, 318)

Biography

Searching for the ancient battlefield

Glasha hires Eryk’s group to search for artifacts from a battle thousands of years earlier. She leads their route across the plains, using magic to orient herself while Eryk searches underground. Her curiosity is scholarly and personal: the Chroniclers record current events, while her own sect gives little attention to the distant past, so she spends her savings pursuing history on her own. (Chapter 284)

When the party uncovers runic pauldrons, Glasha identifies their age and casts a revelation spell to learn their history. The discovery is not enough for her; she continues the search for proof that the ancient battle took place there. She later uncovers further relics and determines that the site was the Last Battle, then gives the recovered Titan artifacts and money to Eryk’s party to support the goliaths’ return home. (Chapters 284–285, 318)

A scholar with practical magic

Glasha’s historical work is grounded in broad knowledge of the Caliphate and its peoples. She explains the political divisions among the orc clans, the history of the Shagar, and the rules of the Choosing to Eryk’s companions, connecting their discoveries to the wider history she is trying to document. (Chapters 290–291)

On the road, she reads the situation at a warlord’s blockade, negotiates passage, and turns a challenge into an honor contest that avoids a wider fight. Her planning can be mischievous, but she takes responsibility for the danger she creates and heals her brother after the duel. This shows her knowledge working as practical judgment, not simply as a store of historical facts. (Chapters 290–291)

Supporting Mynasha

Glasha becomes one of Mynasha’s most important allies during the competition for the Supreme’s seat. She understands that conviction alone will not win support, and helps Mynasha build alliances among clerics and warlords. This shifts Glasha from a hired scholar into a political sponsor whose judgment affects how the party approaches the Choosing. (Chapters 290, 303–305)

Before the final dungeon trial, Glasha briefs Eryk and Mynasha on its layout, creatures, and hazards, drawing on her knowledge of the demons. After their return, she helps ensure the Elders recognize Mynasha’s victory and gives Eryk support as the new Supreme’s status is confirmed. Her preparation gives the two contestants useful information before the trial, while her follow-through helps secure the result afterward. (Chapters 314, 318)

Appearance and personality

Glasha has vivid red hair, tusks, and an expressive grin. She is energetic when discussing history and artifacts, patient as a language teacher, and capable of shifting into a composed, diplomatic manner when political stakes rise. Her humor and occasional schemes do not obscure her loyalty to her allies. (Chapters 284, 290–291)

Magic and abilities

Glasha is a cleric with healing and information-gathering magic. She uses a spell to orient herself during the artifact search, heals injuries from the party’s excavation, and casts a revelation spell to identify an artifact’s age and history. She also uses scrying to examine distant areas and has a lore spell that can interpret artifacts. (Chapters 284–285, 293, 318)

Her strongest demonstrated contribution is often preparation rather than direct combat: she shares detailed knowledge about creatures and dungeons, assesses political threats, and helps the party avoid unnecessary fights. She can monitor an honor duel to ensure the fighters do not use spell forms, and her healing can treat severe physical injuries. (Chapters 291, 314–318)
