Phoenix Feather
The Phoenix Feather is a crystalline, flame-bearing feather from a phoenix and Archean Mountain's last known example when Qin Wu gives it away. He exchanges it for the Nether Jade Bottle so that Liu Qiyue's phoenix bloodline, combat prospects, and unborn children can benefit during the escalating demon war.
History
Trading a reusable treasure for a family's future
Qin Wu discovers the Nether Jade Bottle among Meng Chuan's spoils and offers his phoenix feather in exchange. He values the bottle's perpetual production, while the feather is useless to Meng Chuan's lightning body but exceptionally compatible with Liu Qiyue's Phoenix Divine Body. The trade is intentionally unequal in nominal value: Qin Wu spends the rarer consumable because strengthening Meng Chuan's wife also improves the survival prospects of a disciple whose Essence Soul may one day change the war. (Chapter 216)
Meng Chuan brings the feather to Liu Qiyue, whose blood and flames react as soon as she touches it. She keeps it close while cultivating, and its power gradually enters her and benefits the twins she is carrying. Before a month passes, the once-fiery feather dims, turns to powder, and disappears; its power has completely fused with her body. Later discussions remember the gift as purifying her phoenix bloodline and increasing her chance of reaching the Regis realm rather than as an item she still possesses. (Chapters 216, 218, 236, and 243–244)
Abilities and properties
Bloodline fusion
The feather appears like translucent red jade with a faint flame. Proximity causes a Phoenix Divine Body cultivator's blood to react, and sustained contact during cultivation transfers its power into the body over less than a month. Liu Qiyue reports ongoing transformation, stronger phoenix flames, and beneficial effects on the children in her womb. Qin Wu later describes the result as a purer phoenix bloodline and a substantially better prospect of becoming a Regis Godfiend. (Chapters 216 and 243–244)
Its compatibility is narrow. Qin Wu states that it is especially useful to a Phoenix Divine Body and useless to Meng Chuan's Lightning Devastator body; the corpus does not establish the same result for unrelated fire cultivators. It is also single-use: once its stored power finishes transferring, the physical feather becomes powder and vanishes. The later bloodline improvement persists, but the item itself cannot be reclaimed or transferred again. (Chapter 216)
