Senior Brother Thousand-Hands is one of three special servants created by an Eternal existence. He guards Dry Origin Mountain, supplies challengers with essential information, and is respectfully called “Senior Brother” by both in-name and personal disciples.
Biography
Guardian and guide of Dry Origin Mountain
Daolord Evodia explains that Thousand-Hands is not an ordinary cultivator but a costly constructed existence that has remained active since his creation. At Dry Origin Mountain he receives Meng Chuan, gives him intelligence about the mountain and its imprisoned Chaos creatures, and otherwise sleeps while the challenger cultivates. His guidance lets Meng judge which creatures are beyond his current strength and understand the test's dangers. When Meng finally departs, Thousand-Hands acknowledges the farewell with a nod; no personal ambition beyond his assigned guardianship is stated. (Chapters 721–723, 728, 741–743, and 761)
Appearance and personality
Thousand-Hands has at least eight paws, which he wraps around himself while sleeping. The corpus provides no reliable complete description.
