Daolord Evodia

Daolord Evodia is an Eighth Tribulation Eminence famous for fighting through brushes and paintings. His Holy Mountain of Painting preserves a major legacy, while his direct intervention guides Meng Chuan toward Dry Origin Mountain.

Biography

A painter fulfills an Eternal mission

Meng Chuan first knows Evodia through Holy Mountain of Painting, one of the River of Spacetime's two surviving Eighth Tribulation paintings. After Meng masters the six-stroke runic seal, Evodia appears and explains that he is an in-name disciple of an Eternal existence. Acting under that master's orders, he sends Meng to Dry Origin Mountain and warns him to value the opportunity. Evodia does not provide a summoning method or continued assistance, emphasizing that Meng must reach the Essence Soul Eighth Tribulation realm through his own efforts. His later advice against learning tribulation details too early is remembered when Meng finally prepares to transcend it. (Chapters 657, 719–721, 736, and 756)

Appearance and personality

The corpus does not provide a stable physical description. Evodia is reflective, restrained, and helpful within the exact limits of his master's assignment, rather than becoming Meng's continuing patron. (Chapters 720 and 736)

Abilities and cultivation

He is an Eighth Tribulation Eminence renowned for Painting Dao combat. He can appear across immense spacetime and transfer Meng to Dry Origin Mountain, but the mechanics and limits of that intervention are not explained. (Chapters 657 and 719–721)
