King East River

King East River is an Archean Mountain Regis Godfiend entrusted with presiding over the entrance examination that admits Meng Chuan's cohort. He personally controls the spiritual-perception test, helps determine the final rankings, and takes an active interest in the young spear prodigy Yan Chitong. (Chapters 75–90)

Biography

Selecting Archean Mountain's next generation

King East River arrives with two Marquis Godfiends, enforces the examination's age rule, and supervises the preliminary stages. For the reaction test, he releases his normally restrained aura, darkens the sky, and controls successive waves of hail with enough precision to rescue eliminated candidates. He and the other examiners use the results to measure spiritual perception rather than speed alone. (Chapters 75–83)

He evaluates the unusual strengths and flaws of the cohort, writes a satisfied report, and helps finalize the twenty admissions plus Yan Chitong's special recruitment. Later references show him participating in sect duties and combat-related service, but the supplied scenes do not establish a death or a major realm change after the examination. Appearance and personality

King East River wears linen clothes and can restrain his aura until he resembles an ordinary person, though his bearing remains distinctive.
