Fu Jiao, also called Greater Demon Monarch Fu Jiao, directs demon operations across Wu State and safeguards politically important demon-sage descendants. After years of avoiding predictable action, he tries to ambush Meng Chuan and Liu Qiyue, only to discover Meng Chuan's hidden Essence Soul strength and die during the pursuit. (Chapters 197–213)

Biography

Patient commander, failed ambush

Fu Jiao studies reports of White Fox and other losses, reorganizes demon teams around demon-sage descendants, and personally kills four Great Solar Godfiends before hiding for more than two years. He reappears near a staged county-city battle, sees Meng Chuan and Liu Qiyue arrive as reinforcements, and decides that the chance to kill two famous young Godfiends justifies action despite possible protective treasures. (Chapters 197–210)

Meng Chuan detects the concealed attacker before the ambush lands. Fu Jiao's golden beams, spear, and powerful body keep him dangerous, but a Soul-Vanquishing Spike disrupts his consciousness and Meng Chuan follows him underground. Fu Jiao realizes that the humans do not yet know Meng Chuan's Essence Soul capability, but dies before reporting it; Demon Slayer drains his body and his possessions become war spoils. (Chapters 211–213)

Appearance and personality

Fu Jiao is a single-horned demon who can pass through human settlements under a gray robe with his aura suppressed. He is cautious, secretive, and politically aware, but becomes excited when a high-value target appears. The narration directly shows him calming that excitement and planning carefully; it does not supply his species, family, or life before the invasion. (Chapters 197–210)

Abilities and cultivation

He is a strong fourth Firmament demon with a durable body, underground movement, a black spear, and two fast golden blade-like beams. His physical strikes can demolish the surrounding ground, and he continues resisting after an Essence Soul attack. The Soul-Vanquishing Spike nevertheless blurs his perception, and his burrowing cannot escape Meng Chuan's underground tracking and superior speed. (Chapters 211–213)
