Eastern Emperor Donghua is the Great Golden Immortal appointed over the Eastern Divine Continent, its local deities, and its celestial military. He descends to investigate the Alien Star warriors, captures two of them, and traces the Human Emperor disturbance to Du Ge. Rather than suppressing him, Donghua accepts the possibility that Du Ge can reveal a path to sainthood and becomes his Dao protector. He later enters another battlefield through body possession, develops the keyword Sharp Tongue, and uses rumor-based skills to support Du Ge's coalition.

Biography

From regional sovereign to the Human Emperor's Dao protector

Donghua begins as the Eastern Divine Continent's highest official, ruling from an overseas immortal island with three thousand disciples and countless celestial soldiers and generals. The Five Sacred Emperors, local yin deities, and much of the continent's religious administration fall within his jurisdiction. His periodic mortal patrols reinforce that authority, while his descent during the demonic crisis demonstrates that the Celestial Court relies on regional emperors to respond more quickly than heaven's slower passage of time permits. He captures Ning Xianping and another Alien Star warrior, learns about Du Ge from them, and travels to New Moon after the top-ten ranking reveals the Human Emperor's location. Donghua can easily seize Du Ge and isolate him inside a space that blocks outside perception, but Du Ge avoids combat and presents himself as an embodiment of another world's Heavenly Dao. The claim appeals directly to Donghua's frustration at remaining a Great Golden Immortal for tens of thousands of years. Donghua does not fully trust Du Ge's benevolent purpose, yet he judges the chance to see a path to sainthood worth the gamble and performs a disciple's salute. He publicly endorses the Human Emperor, orders the regional emperors to spread the new doctrine, and reveals himself above New Moon as Du Ge's Dao protector, converting an improvised political story into recognized celestial support. Supplying Du Ge and breaking with the Celestial Court

At his immortal island, Donghua opens his cultivation archive, medicines, and acquired spiritual treasures to Du Ge. He supplies the True Classic of the Great Void, transformation arts, protective equipment, weapons, and the spiritual power of his blessed land. In return, Du Ge isolates the light Dao resonance for him to study. When Du Ge's cultivation begins drawing more energy than the entire island usually supplies to its disciples and soldiers, Donghua becomes convinced that the Heavenly Dao identity is genuine. He summons his followers to comprehend the mixed Dao resonance and commits his regional foundation to the coming confrontation with the Celestial Court. (Chapter 559)

The alliance costs Donghua that foundation. While he travels with Du Ge, True Lord Xianyou arrests the disciples and Five Sacred Emperors who remain behind. Donghua presses Du Ge to rescue them and later accompanies him through the expansion of the Human Emperor coalition, lending the Azure Lotus Treasure Flag and acting as a Great Golden Immortal protector. When Taixuan Emperor's blood method threatens the Central Extreme Continent, Donghua agrees to seek celestial reinforcements even though imprisonment is likely. He and Taiqing Emperor are seized and sealed upon reaching Lingxiao Palace; the Celestial Emperor then exposes that Du Ge used their mission and heaven's time lag as propaganda against the court. Seeking freedom through Sharp Tongue

After Du Ge defeats the Celestial Court and his world still offers no reliable path beyond Great Golden Immortal, Donghua follows the other ancient powers into body possession. His new keyword is Sharp Tongue, a poor match for the dignity and direct power of his former station. He nevertheless encounters the Underworld Emperor on the same third-class planet, and the pair decide not to enter the interstellar war until their attributes can support them. Donghua's indirect attacks help the Underworld Emperor take control of Latak, allowing both to remove local competitors and build a base from which to answer Du Ge's eventual summons. Donghua worries that Du Ge may be using them, but the Underworld Emperor persuades him that missing the battlefield's end would leave them trapped as outside powers' playthings. They therefore rejoin Du Ge before most other familiar warriors. During the virtual negotiation with the Zorn and Rad coalition, Donghua tries to turn the opposing leaders against each other through Insinuation; when the target remains unaffected, he immediately signals that a shielding ability is blocking the effect. He does not enter the ensuing assault team, and is later removed from his host at the same mass extraction as the other Alien Star warriors. His condition after that removal is unknown. Appearance and personality

Donghua's public divine form wears a purple-gold crown and black imperial robes, with three flowers gathered above his head and golden light radiating around him. His temples and regular patrols make that form recognizable throughout the Eastern Divine Continent. In private he carries the composure of a ruler who has cultivated for a million years, but he willingly stands behind Du Ge and yields the central position once he accepts the Human Emperor's role. He is proud, responsible toward his disciples, and deeply ambitious about sainthood. His skepticism makes him test Du Ge's claims in an isolated space, yet his long stagnation makes him willing to act on an uncertain opportunity. He repeatedly asks after his captured followers and accepts imprisonment while seeking help against Taixuan's blood disaster, showing that ambition does not erase his sense of obligation. In the final battlefield he remains cautious enough to build strength before joining Du Ge and to warn him immediately when a mental skill fails. (Chapters 557, 565, 573, 617, and 643)

Great Golden Immortal cultivation and celestial authority

Donghua is an ancient Great Golden Immortal, two major realms above the Southern Emperor and near the peak of conventional combat power in his world. He can move groups into the clouds without warning, observe a distant meeting through a will-o'-the-wisp, create a white space that blocks all perception, see through ordinary transformation, and travel by golden light. His pressure alone makes Heavenly Immortals and demon kings abandon resistance. These powers depend on the cultivation and laws of his native world; body possession later separates him from that established strength and forces him to rely on keyword attributes. (Chapters 547, 556–559, and 617)

His True Classic of the Great Void descends from the Dao Ancestor and anchors a broader command of escape arts, formations, talismans, alchemy, and transformation. His island's archive includes the Heavenly Spirits and Earthly Fiends transformation method, which can produce genuine transformations difficult for ordinary eye techniques to expose. Donghua's learning and resources make him an excellent teacher and patron, but they do not solve his central limit: even after tens of thousands of years at Great Golden Immortal, he has not found an independent path to sainthood. Azure Lotus Treasure Flag and Five Elements formation

The Azure Lotus Treasure Flag is Donghua's innate spiritual treasure, bestowed to guard the Eastern Divine Continent. It calms the mind, repels evil, commands wind, thunder, fire, and lightning, and is impervious to ordinary techniques. Its defense can withstand the combined efforts of two other regional emperors for a time. Donghua lends it to Du Ge, whose Dark God power uses its protection to infiltrate another continent and whose water authority suppresses one opposing flag. (Chapters 559 and 569)

Combined with the four other regional flags, it forms the Five Elements Locking Earth Formation, sealing all five continents against anyone below Great Golden Immortal. The formation draws on the mortal world's spiritual power because its regional bearers cannot sustain that scale themselves. Once established, however, the emperors lose individual control of their flags, making the defense powerful but strategically inflexible. Donghua's own flag is also an office-bound treasure rather than something his later possessed body carries into the multiversal battlefield. (Chapters 559 and 571)

Sharp Tongue keyword

Sharp Tongue first gives Donghua Slander, which easily breaks a target's emotional defenses and draws that target's hatred toward him. The forced hostility functions like a taunt, but it is a poor frontline tool in an interstellar setting: enemies can attack across planetary distances, and Donghua's host never grows as strong as the Underworld Emperor's Greed-enhanced body. The skill can provoke attention but does not supply the durability needed to survive the response. (Chapters 617 and 642)

His second skill, Insinuation, lets him secretly spread rumors or defamatory suggestions that break a target's mental defenses and redirect hatred toward a specified third party. It allows him to destabilize a group without personally becoming the focus and is the decisive support that helps the Underworld Emperor unify Latak. Activation requires Donghua to perceive an image of the target within range and direct the insinuation toward it. Mental shielding can negate the effect entirely, as shown when the First Saint remains calm during the virtual negotiation and Donghua signals failure to Du Ge. (Chapters 642–643)

Insinuation is therefore strongest as a concealed political weapon rather than a direct combat technique. It can turn existing suspicion into internal conflict and amplify an ally's campaign for authority, but it neither grants Donghua control of the resulting combat nor overcomes explicit immunity. His own growth still comes mainly from the attributes gained by exercising Sharp Tongue, leaving him substantially weaker than allies whose keywords directly accumulate cultivation, strength, or life. Du Ge: Donghua begins as Du Ge's greatest immediate danger, then becomes his Dao protector after accepting that an uncertain alliance offers a chance at sainthood. He gives Du Ge techniques, treasures, soldiers, legitimacy, and personal protection. Du Ge in turn gives him a Dao resonance to study but also sacrifices his followers' safety and uses his celestial mission for propaganda, leaving the partnership productive yet fundamentally manipulative. Underworld Emperor: The two ancient rulers meet again after receiving Greed and Sharp Tongue. Donghua supplies political disruption while the Underworld Emperor supplies direct growth and strength, together taking Latak and later traveling to Du Ge.
