Peacock King Plume

The Peacock King Plume is not a transferable feather or stored treasure. It is the Shen Family's rare cultivated killing move: Shen Yu transforms through his Peacock Eyespot Domain and manifests a five-colored plume in his hand, then Zuo Mo's Reversed Stellar Revolution burns the attack away and kills its cultivator. Later appearances of the name are retrospective reports of that duel. (Chapters 605–606 and 609–659)

History

Shen Yu condenses an incomplete family apex technique

During his challenge against Zuo Mo, Shen Yu deploys the Peacock Eyespot Domain, whose many whirlpools control and entangle targets. When Zuo Mo's repeated blows destabilize that domain, Shen Yu escalates: peacock feathers spread across his body and mo matrix, his crown becomes a helmet, and a half-chi five-colored feather manifests in his hand as the Peacock King Plume. Observers identify it as the Shen Family's famed killing move, historically used by the family founder to kill many generals. Cultivation requires deep mastery of the already difficult Peacock Eyespot Domain, and very few descendants achieve it. Shen Yu's form is explicitly judged incomplete, though still powerful enough to be treated as a decisive attack. (Chapter 605)

Reversed Stellar Revolution ends the manifestation and user

Shen Yu fires the plume as a streak of multicolored light. It enters the sparks around Zuo Mo's newly formed Reversed Stellar Revolution, slows, catches fire, and turns to ash. At the same moment, flame engulfs Shen Yu and leaves nothing behind. Because the plume is a cultivated manifestation, no physical item remains to loot, inherit, or return to the Shen Family. Subsequent references only describe Xiao Mo Ge as the person who defeated the Peacock King Plume or killed Shen Yu. Princess Xia appears after the duel because she is the subject of Zuo Mo's wager; she never owns, grants, or uses the plume. The last source mention therefore does not extend the move's active lifecycle beyond Shen Yu's death. (Chapters 606, 609, 611, 619, 626, 636, and 659)

Abilities and properties

• Cultivated manifestation: The visible feather forms from Shen Yu's bodily transformation and mo matrix inside the Peacock Eyespot Domain. It is a killing move, not ordinary carried equipment. (Chapter 605)
• Domain requirement: A practitioner needs deep comprehension of the Peacock Eyespot Domain before cultivating the plume. That prerequisite makes the move exceptionally rare even within the Shen Family. (Chapter 605)
• Concentrated ranged attack: Shen Yu launches the manifested feather as fast multicolored light intended to finish the duel. Its full effect on a struck target is not shown because Zuo Mo intercepts it. (Chapter 606)
• Incomplete state: Chang Yuan Hao judges Shen Yu's plume incomplete. Yu Shuang still considers the accomplishment extraordinary for Shen Yu's age, but the source does not specify which properties or stages are missing. (Chapter 605)
• Counter and destruction: Reversed Stellar Revolution slows the plume inside its orbiting sparks and burns it to ash. The counter also propagates lethal fire to Shen Yu, so the one demonstrated use ends both manifestation and cultivator. (Chapter 606)
