Mist Eye Tablet

The Mist Eye Tablet is the round, eye-like control treasure of the Totem Coliseum's Mist Hall. Its inexhaustible-looking mist sea sustains the Ghost Mist Child, whose soul was accidentally drawn into the tablet during refinement; after Zuo Mo defeats and recruits him, tablet and spirit become portable assets of Zuo Mo's group. History

A refinement accident creates the Mist Hall guardian

The tablet occupies the center of the ancient Mist Hall and continuously produces strange white mist that does not disperse normally. Long before the present expedition, the Ghost Mist Child tried to refine it and was careless: the tablet drew in his soul, cost him his physical body, and became stronger as he developed a mist-sea method within it. He later submitted to the Totem Coliseum's master and was assigned to guard the hall. (Chapters 790–794)

That bond makes the hall difficult to conquer. Within the mist sea, the Ghost Mist Child can restore his mist body and regards himself as immortal; he attacks anyone trying to claim the tablet. Zuo Mo and A Gui overcome him through powers that deny his regeneration, and Zuo Mo forces his submission. Their fight badly damages the Mist Eye Tablet, leaving it in need of recovery rather than destroying it. (Chapters 792–796)

From fixed hall treasure to portable support vessel

Once the Ghost Mist Child yields, Zuo Mo takes custody of both guardian and tablet. The Ghost Mist Child soon activates it to fill another hall with mist for an ambush, proving that the damaged object remains functional and can be carried away from its original installation. (Chapters 795–799)

Years later, the tablet travels inside Zuo Mo's enlarged ring. The Ghost Mist Child emerges from it during an ambush and channels mist through it to bind an attacker. Zuo Mo also puts Pu Yao and Wei into the tablet during one of their fights; this is temporary containment, not a transfer of the tablet or a permanent change in either soul's custody. Abilities and properties

• Persistent mist production: The round tablet releases large volumes of white mist that linger rather than dispersing. Under the Ghost Mist Child's control, the output can fill a palace hall or erupt around a target. (Chapters 790–792, 799, and 868)
• Mist-sea environment: Its interior or controlled space sustains the Ghost Mist Child's reconstructed mist body and originally lets him recover from damage. The tablet does not itself make every occupant immortal; that effect is tied to his soul and mist-sea method. (Chapters 793–794)
• Soul vessel and interior space: It captures the Ghost Mist Child's soul during his attempted refinement and later houses him in portable form. Zuo Mo can also place Pu Yao and Wei inside, demonstrating an interior capable of containing other manifested souls. (Chapters 794, 867, and 880)
• Battlefield control: Mist released from the tablet conceals allies, shapes an ambush environment, and combines with the Ghost Mist Child's chains of mist to restrict an enemy. Its effectiveness depends on its guardian's control and was reduced after the damaging conquest of the Mist Hall. (Chapters 796, 799, and 868)
• Reproducible principle: Zuo Mo later copies the tablet's design into a lower-cost Mist Disk. That derivative establishes that he understands part of its construction, but it is a separate object and does not divide or transfer the original tablet. (Chapter 872)
