Ji Wei

Ji Wei is a professional forger who becomes one of Golden Crow Camp's two masters beside Sun Bao. He turns Zuo Mo's experimental formation knowledge into organized production, teaches recruited artisans, and helps develop the infrastructure and shen equipment that make Mo Cloud Sea's military power reproducible.

Biography

From refugee forger to camp master

Ji Wei and Sun Bao make their living through forging before Little Mountain Jie collapses. Zuo Mo values their superior practical skill and teaches them the formations behind the Black Processing Meditation mat. Ji Wei then recruits anyone with useful experience, divides work by specialty, pays by completed unit, and trains rough artisans while the city is being built. This production system lets hundreds of workers keep pace with Zuo Mo's unusually fast construction, and the completed Golden Crow City gives Ji Wei enough security and belonging that he commits to follow Boss beyond Little Mountain Jie. After the evacuation, Ji Wei helps make Golden Crow Camp an independent knowledge community rather than a loose workshop. He and Sun Bao lecture, share guidance, require a killing-heart oath before teaching rare material, and declare the camp loyal to Zuo Mo rather than to an old sect structure. Their team creates the Crimson Fiend Cauldron, studies mo matrices, and later designs a Golden Crystal ship after first building defensive formations around the work site. Ji Wei's progression is therefore measured through larger collaborative systems: each invention depends on a trained camp, stored materials, and a protected workspace rather than solitary inspiration. Mo Cloud Sea production

On Turtle Island, Ji Wei helps transform cultivation research into civilian and military tools. Golden Crow Camp studies the Meridional Azure Aether Formation, develops gentler farming formations, and designs an Insect Exterminating Formation that lets sword xiu replace scarce ling-plant specialists while practicing sword essence. Later, emergency orders push the camp into mo embryos, matrix awakening, jinzhi, and standardized shen equipment. Ji Wei remains active as order volumes rise into tens of thousands of sets, showing that his late role is not a single masterpiece but management of an experimental production institution. Appearance and personality

The source does not provide a stable physical description of Ji Wei's face, build, hair, or clothing. It shows him through work states instead: shouting over production, tearful on entering Golden Crow City, stern when demanding oaths, animated by new designs, and finally sleeping sprawled on the workshop stairs after an emergency effort. Ji Wei's core skill is translating a design into repeatable parts and assigning each stage to workers of different ability. He identifies Wei Cheng Bin's talent for small components, absorbs hundreds of partially trained forgers, and keeps blue-gold brick production close to Zuo Mo's construction rate. Unit wages motivate workers, but quality and supply still constrain output; Ji Wei and Sun Bao repeatedly struggle when Boss consumes parts faster than the division can forge them. Formation research

Golden Crow Camp under Ji Wei and Sun Bao researches by dividing complex matrices into discoverable formations and testing combinations. They admit when cultivation is insufficient to solve the entire Golden-Winged Great Roc matrix, incorporate specialists such as Li Zhuo, and adapt strong techniques into gentler agricultural versions. The Insect Exterminating Formation exemplifies their method: rather than imitate a gold farming spell, it channels a sword xiu's existing sword essence through golden crystal sand. Shen-era equipment

Ji Wei helps move Golden Crow Camp from ling-power forging into mo matrices, embryos, jinzhi, and shen equipment. The work remains collective and capital-intensive. Designs such as Arsonist belong to their intended wielders, not Ji Wei, while mass orders require millions of high-grade jingshi and continued material supply. Sun Bao
