Tianhai Ya'er — Way of Choices

Tianhai Ya'er is a violent young member of the Tianhai clan whose family protection allows him to terrorize other students. His crippling attack on Xuanyuan Po helps draw Luoluo into the Ivy Festival conflict, where she destroys the power on which his reputation depends. (Chapters 43–49, 61, 91–100, and 437–444)

Biography

The Capital and the Orthodox Academy

Tianhai enters the Ivy Festival expecting his clan name and record of cruelty to make every witness fear retaliation. He deliberately shatters Xuanyuan Po's right arm, then mocks the crowd because hatred without action confirms his power. Luoluo refuses that logic: after identifying herself, she defeats and cripples him despite the political risk, turning the protected aggressor into a wheelchair-bound dependent. Tianhai later returns to the Orthodox Academy gate as part of another provocation, but his former terror has become public loathing and pity; years afterward, Xuanyuan learns that he died from depression. Appearance and personality

Tianhai is an immature youth with a pale, unhealthy face, thin bloody lips, and an expression of contempt for life and other people. After being crippled, his cheeks swell and his leg muscles atrophy, leaving a pitiable appearance sharply opposed to his earlier arrogance. (Chapters 43–44 and 437–444)

Abilities and cultivation

Harsh training makes Tianhai strong enough to maim Xuanyuan and intimidate experienced cultivators, but the capital never knows his full level before the Ivy Festival. Luoluo's overwhelming response permanently cripples him, and the corpus does not preserve a named signature technique or stable realm. (Chapters 43–49 and 98–100)

Relationships

Xuanyuan Po: Tianhai destroys Xuanyuan's right arm, forcing him from Star Seizer Academy and indirectly beginning his life at the Orthodox Academy. The injury continues affecting him years later. (Chapters 43–49, 98–100, and 951–970)
Luoluo: Luoluo answers Tianhai's cruelty by defeating and crippling him, ignoring the protection normally supplied by his clan name. (Chapters 44–49 and 61)
Tianhai Shengxue: Shengxue is the more disciplined Tianhai relative against whom Ya'er's recklessness is measured. He later recognizes how the clan uses Ya'er as a disposable provocation. (Chapters 92 and 646)

Items

Wheelchair: After Luoluo cripples him, Tianhai returns in a wheelchair during later confrontations at the Orthodox Academy gate. It signifies his lost cultivation rather than granting an ability. (Chapters 437–444)
