Guardian Li

Guardian Li is one of Luoluo's longtime personal guardians, combining high cultivation with a protective, almost parental concern for the princess. (Chapters 32–33 and 921)

Biography

Protecting Luoluo's choices

Guardian Li watches over Luoluo from the princess's early days at the Orthodox Academy, where anxiety over her safety is mixed with pride at her growing independence. Years later, when Luoluo faces a distant political marriage, Guardian Li urges her to write to Chen Changsheng, reasoning that the Pope's teacher–student bond and political authority could pressure the demi-human empress to reconsider. Luoluo refuses, so Guardian Li continues helping within the limits the princess accepts: she obtains a key, brings reports and tea, and remains present through the martial contest that may decide the marriage. (Chapters 32–36, 921–922, 944, 947, and 957–958)

Appearance and personality

No distinct physical description is supplied. Guardian Li is emotionally transparent in private: she wipes away tears, looks on Luoluo with pride and heartache, and struggles to suppress pity. Her protectiveness remains practical, expressed through surveillance, counsel, reports, and quiet preparation. (Chapters 32, 921, 944, and 958)

Abilities and cultivation

Guardian Li and Guardian Jin possess lofty cultivation and can observe Luoluo's distant conversation from a wall when she does not conceal it. The text does not name Guardian Li's realm or show a personal combat technique. Her court role also gives her access sufficient to obtain a needed key and monitor events around the princess. (Chapters 33, 944, and 957)
