An Hua

An Hua is a priest of the Thirteen Divisions of Radiant Green who becomes known through frontline healing and fervent support for Chen Changsheng. Her experience with the Cinnabar Pill leads her from medical service into a public religious movement supporting the Pope. (Chapters 743–805, 1057–1066, and 1126–1162)

Biography

The Northern Campaign

An Hua reaches the Mount Song Army headquarters after training specifically to treat battlefield casualties and immediately works close to physical collapse, relying on stored crystals to replenish the Sacred Light she spends. When Chen rescues her during the Demon Lord's attack and the Cinnabar Pill's true origin becomes known, gratitude develops into explicit religious commitment. She insists that a Saint's good acts must be publicized to guide others, later leads priests in revealing how the pills are refined, and joins the preaching mission that binds church support to Chen during the war. (Chapters 743–805, 1057–1066, and 1126–1130)

Appearance and personality

An Hua wears white priestly robes and is often pale from exhaustion or emotion, with faint tears visible at moments of crisis. She is earnest, gentle with patients, and uncompromising in devotion, sometimes treating public moral witness as important enough to risk her own life. (Chapters 743–754, 1057, and 1147)

Abilities and cultivation

Her Sacred Light heals battlefield injuries but consumes her reserves rapidly; without crystals for meditation and recovery, overuse could kill her. An Hua is therefore effective as a sustained healer only when logistics support her, a limit that makes her willingness to work without rest especially dangerous. (Chapter 743)

Relationships

  • Chen Changsheng: Chen saves An Hua and becomes the focus of her religious loyalty. She later serves in his camp and helps spread the Cinnabar Pill's history. (Chapters 743–805 and 1126–1162)
  • An Lin: An Lin is An Hua's paternal aunt and a senior Orthodox influence. An Hua presses her to promise continued support for Chen. (Chapters 804–805)
  • Demon Lord: The Demon Lord's attack turns An Hua from an exhausted battlefield healer into a protected witness to Chen's actions. (Chapters 767–773)

Items

  • Meditation crystals: Mount Song's crystal reserves let An Hua replenish the energy consumed by repeated Sacred Light treatments. They are essential medical supplies rather than personal treasures. (Chapter 743)
