Red Dragon Sword

The Red Dragon Sword is a legendary weapon forged by Leylin from a red dragon’s bones and scales, then given to Isabel. Its physical sharpness, armour-breaking enchantment, and fire magic complement her draconic bloodline.

History

A weapon made as a gift

Leylin produces the sword alongside other dragon-material equipment after his red-dragon harvest. He explicitly makes it for someone else and gives it to Isabel, judging it well suited to her. She immediately adopts the blade as her principal weapon. (Chapters 926–929)

Isabel’s legendary blade

Isabel uses the sword’s armour-breaking edge and flames to kill protected opponents, repel assassins, and burn through magical vegetation. Its sheath gives off reassuring warmth when she is injured, while its hidden techniques interact with her bloodline abilities. (Chapters 933–947)

Service in the divine war

The sword remains at Isabel’s side as she commands Leylin’s forces on Debanks Island and later defends his ascension ceremony. After Leylin becomes a god, she raises the same blade while announcing his order to attack Minauros, showing that it remains active rather than being replaced or destroyed. (Chapters 990–994, 1123, and 1127)

Abilities and properties

• Has exceptional sharpness and an armour-breaking enchantment capable of piercing strong defences. (Chapters 926 and 933)
• Can release a fireball three times per day and channels additional fiery attacks in Isabel’s hands. (Chapters 926, 942, and 944)
• Is made from red-dragon bones, scales, and refined metal, with a matching dragonscale scabbard. (Chapter 926)
