Biography

Bloodline brother and clan guide

Robin meets Leylin Farlier at the Ouroboros Clan's border and immediately recognizes him as kin through the Giant Kemoyin Serpent bloodline. As Gilbert's senior student and head of the Parble Family, he escorts Leylin past hostile Marquis Wood, introduces him to the clan, and explains that shared bloodline creates political family even where no recent genealogy exists. His welcome gives an unaffiliated Warlock both institutional protection and a senior contact. (Chapters 396–400)

Robin is already a Rank 3 Hydro Phase Warlock, one of the clan's stronger younger leaders. He teaches Leylin how Rank 3 spiritual force condenses through Vapour, Hydro, and Crystal phases, and explains why Morning Star advancement demands more than raw accumulation. In particular, a high-grade meditation technique fixes innate spells and its Rank 4 final technique; for Kemoyin's Pupil that future technique is Flawless Morphing. Robin understands the path well even though he has not completed it himself. (Chapters 398–411)

The Quicksand expedition

The Parble Family possesses ancestral information pointing to a gluttony imprint in the ancient Quicksand ruins. Robin organizes an expedition with Leylin, Kesha, Noah, and multiple Rank 3 subordinate Warlocks, supplying airship transport and most of the personnel. The operation demonstrates real command ability: he balances family interests, retreats from fights whose rewards do not justify their cost, and uses bloodline knowledge to navigate ruins built around ancient Warlock research. (Chapters 414–436)

Robin's hidden objective is more dangerous than ordinary treasure. Because Giant Kemoyin bloodlines face a Morning Star ceiling and purification bottleneck, he hopes the imprint can refine his blood until it matches the ancient serpent and open a path to Rank 4. He obtains the fragment of Beelzebub's gluttony consciousness, but its benefit is inseparable from spiritual contamination. Within months, compulsive appetite and emotional loss of control begin overwhelming him. (Chapters 428–436, 483)

Passing the imprint to Noah

Robin tries to remove the imprint before it destroys his judgment. His talented nephew Noah volunteers to inherit it, arguing that a more concentrated bloodline can subdue the corruption and fulfill their family's ambition. Robin consents out of desperation and hope. The transfer does purify Noah's blood and drives rapid phase advancement, but it also gives the ambitious nephew powers and appetites tied directly to the sin of gluttony. (Chapters 436, 446, 479–484)

Noah then assumes Robin's face and aura. The imprint obscures the difference so effectively that even Morning Star mentors may not notice, while news that “Robin” has reached Crystal Phase makes the disguise look like the expected fruit of the expedition. The false Robin imprisons relatives and enemies, devours bloodline material, and drains the real Robin's spiritual force until his cultivation collapses from Hydro Phase to roughly Rank 1. Robin's attempt to externalize a corruptive risk thus arms the person best positioned to replace him. (Chapters 446–483)

Rescue and judgment

Leylin follows inconsistencies to the Parble castle and bypasses bloodline-locked defenses to find Robin starved and mutilated in an underground cell. Despite grave injuries, Robin explains the imprint's origin, the transfer, and the mutated family passage. He guides Leylin through hazards capable of devouring even a Crystal Phase Warlock, converting his intimate knowledge of the estate into the one contribution still available after his power has been stripped. (Chapters 479–484)

When Noah confronts them, Robin accepts that his nephew remains calculating beneath the apparent madness and gives Leylin moral permission to kill him. Leylin defeats Noah and extracts the gluttony power, ending the impersonation. Robin is alive when rescued, but the corpus does not show a restoration of his cultivation or family authority; the damage to his body, soul, and house is left unresolved. (Chapters 484–485)

Appearance and personality

Robin has the fair, refined skin and unusual charm common among high-purity Warlocks. Before his imprisonment he appears youthful, sociable, and confident in the authority of a clan senior. After prolonged draining he is gaunt, injured, and unable to project the force once associated with his name.

He combines fraternity with bloodline pride. Robin treats Leylin warmly, explains rather than hoards basic clan knowledge, and can lead relatives without constant intimidation. His central flaw is advancement anxiety: the known ceiling of his bloodline makes an incompletely understood shortcut appear worth exposing himself and his family to. Once that choice harms Noah, Robin shows remorse rather than hiding behind the imprint's influence.

Magic, bloodline, and abilities

Giant Kemoyin Serpent bloodline

Robin is a pure Giant Kemoyin Serpent Warlock practicing the clan's bloodline path. It grants the vitality, bloodline pressure, and innate-spell framework associated with Kemoyin's Pupil. The lineage offers faster phase advancement than an ordinary Magus of similar rank, but its ancestral source is Rank 4; descendants therefore face a hard Morning Star bloodline ceiling unless they alter or purify the inheritance. Rank 3 Hydro Phase

Robin has condensed gaseous spiritual force into liquid and reached the Hydro Phase of Rank 3. This gives him greater reserves and output than Vapour Phase Warlocks while leaving Crystal Phase as a further condensation step. Reports that “Robin” later advances to Crystal Phase concern Noah after the impersonation; the real Robin's last firmly established peak is Hydro Phase before gluttony contamination and imprisonment reduce him to Rank 1-level strength. Kemoyin transformations and final-technique knowledge

The Kemoyin inheritance provides serpent transformation, bloodline spells, poison-related traits, and an eventual path to Flawless Morphing at Morning Star. Robin explains that a meditation technique's innate spells are fixed and combine at Rank 4 into a final technique with much greater amplification than ordinary combination magic. He possesses the Rank 3 inheritance and its teaching knowledge, but never demonstrates Flawless Morphing because he does not reach Morning Star. (Chapters 398–411)

Expedition command and bloodline administration

Robin can assemble multiple Rank 3 Warlocks, assign formations, arrange long-range airship travel, and judge whether magical creatures or ruins merit a fight. As family head he controls a fortified castle with bloodline detectors, formation genies, secret laboratories, and passages keyed to family DNA. These defenses multiply institutional power but can be bypassed or captured by specialists, as Leylin demonstrates. (Chapters 414–436, 479–483)

Gluttony imprint

The imprint is a fragment linked to Beelzebub, capable of purifying serpent blood and granting gluttony-derived abilities through consumption. It also produces overwhelming appetite, emotional instability, and progressive spiritual contamination. Robin cannot control it for more than a few months and transfers it before realizing that its apparent advancement benefit selects for further devouring. It is therefore a parasitic external power, not Robin's mastered innate spell. (Chapters 428–436, 483–485)

Transfer, disguise, and draining limits

The imprint can be passed to another compatible Warlock, but Robin cannot command it after transfer or prevent the recipient from turning on him. Noah uses its concealment to imitate Robin's face, bloodline aura, and public identity, then drains Robin's spiritual force and bloodline over time. The resulting fall to Rank 1 shows that cultivation can be consumed rather than merely suppressed; rescue stops further loss but does not automatically rebuild condensed spiritual force.
