Enzo
Enzo is a Rodova Circuits team member whose self-effacing humor and commitment to assigned roles compensate for his limited power beside the team's prodigies.
Biography
Turning ridicule into time for the team
Enzo enters selection day as the team member most challengers consider vulnerable, but retains his place and travels to the Circuits. In the final, with Rodova needing Leo Skyshard to recover, Enzo accepts a near-certain loss against Grandmaster Ramos and deliberately plays the fool—walking slowly, pretending to forget his weapon, and enduring public ridicule—to buy the requested minutes. He is badly beaten, yet his sacrifice helps Leo return and complete Rodova's comeback; Enzo later joins the victory celebration without resentment. (Chapters 146–148, 183, and 209–233)
Appearance and personality
Enzo is not given a stable physical description. He is nervous and awkward under overwhelming pressure but also shamelessly funny, emotionally resilient, and unusually willing to look foolish for others. Yu Shen values precisely that refusal to panic or abandon a defined role. (Chapters 209–210)
Abilities and power progression
Enzo is a Master-tier fighter with no standout power, exceptional speed, or named technique established. His useful combat application is tactical stalling: feints, delay, improvised sand, and endurance extend a hopeless match, but they do not overcome the tier gap to Ramos, who leaves him injured and bandaged. No later power progression is shown. (Chapters 209–213 and 233)
Relationships
- Yu Shen selects Enzo because he recognizes the morale and reliability behind the clowning, then trusts him to buy Leo time. (Chapters 209–210)
- Leo Skyshard benefits directly from Enzo's sacrificial delay, and Enzo continues supporting him from the infirmary. (Chapters 209–213)
- Su Yang and the other Rodova fighters are teammates with whom Enzo shares the eventual championship celebration. (Chapters 183 and 226–233)
Items
Enzo uses ordinary team armor and a blade, although he pretends to have forgotten the latter as part of his finals delay. No named item is established. (Chapters 183 and 209–210)
