David

David Meninges is Rodova Military Academy's head first-year instructor and Magic Theory professor. A decorated former Major, he deliberately challenges privileged prodigies because he believes their effortless superiority can crush the motivation of less-gifted students.

Bias, instruction, and reluctant recognition

David enters the school year already hostile to the arrival of exceptional noble talents, reasoning that students born with resources and superior bloodlines discourage everyone else from competing.
