Proof of Devotion
The Proof of Devotion is an ancient sacred ring paired in Seo Yuhui's explanation with the cruciform Proof of Castitas. Seol Jihu transfers it to her during the bargain that gives him the Flower of Soma.
History
Recognition and transfer
Seol obtains the ring among his earlier Paradise rewards, but its identity and importance become explicit only when Seo Yuhui examines the holy objects he possesses. She names the ring the Proof of Devotion and confirms that the artifacts still retain holiness after centuries. Seol then agrees to give it to her together with the Proof of Castitas and another sacred object in return for the Flower of Soma. (Chapters 82–84)
The ring's later custody is not separately narrated in detail. Its lasting importance lies in the transaction: Seo Yuhui acquires an artifact needed for her divine path, while Seol receives the flower that roots anti-evil lightning in his mana and reshapes his subsequent spear techniques. The transfer is consensual exchange rather than theft, temporary lending, or evidence that either character owns the other's divine power. (Chapters 82–92)
Abilities and properties
- The ring retains ancient holiness connected to a saintess's office. (Chapters 82–84)
- Its precise activation, individual effects, limits, and relationship to Seo Yuhui's advancement are not fully explained in the supplied corpus.
- It is distinct from the Proof of Castitas and from the Flower of Soma, even though all three are discussed in the same exchange. (Chapters 82–84)
