Undying Diligence is the Parasites’ First Army Commander, a vampire lord whose exceptional vitality earned him his title. He leads the Nosferatus at Arden Valley and becomes the first Army Commander killed by humanity during the main continuity. (Chapters 87, 91–93)

Biography

Assault on Arden Valley

Undying Diligence leads the upper assault on Arden Valley with a force of Nosferatus while two other commanders attack the fortress. He offers to spare the stronghold if its defenders surrender Seol Jihu, then commits to taking him by force. The arrival of powerful reinforcements and Seol’s willingness to pursue a suicidal counterattack turn that assumed victory into a retreat, leaving the commander isolated from the easier conquest he expected. Death and aftermath

After sustaining repeated fatal injuries, Undying Diligence uses Divinity Manifestation, accepting both its enormous recoil and the possibility of death. He attempts to withdraw behind his Nosferatus, but Seol catches him and bisects him with reinforced sword qi; the surviving Nosferatus are then destroyed. His death becomes an unprecedented strategic victory, while the divinity recovered from the battlefield is later passed to Sung Shihyun, strengthening a different Parasite champion rather than returning Undying Diligence himself. Appearance and personality

Undying Diligence is a tall, willowy humanoid with pale-blue skin, pointed ears, fangs, a black cape, and the dress of a medieval noble. He speaks with formal confidence and initially treats the defenders as insects, yet he remains calculating enough to use subordinates as shields and order a retreat once the campaign becomes untenable. His composure does not prevent contempt and anger from distorting his judgment when Seol repeatedly provokes him. (Chapters 87, 91–92)

Abilities and class

His defining trait is extraordinary vitality: he recovers by absorbing fallen Nosferatus and survives injuries that would ordinarily be fatal. He also uses claws, blood-colored energy, Mistification, and command over the Nosferatu force. Divinity Manifestation enlarges him beyond four meters and gives him overwhelming power, but the transformation rapidly consumes its bearer. The narrative gives him no human class or numbered level.
