Kim Soohyun is an Earth resident known to the Fallen Angels as the Martial God. He lives near Seol Jihu, possesses powers and history extending beyond Paradise, and holds the authority to decide whether the Fallen Angels may return to the Celestial Realm.

The Fallen Angels' appeal

The Fallen Angels ask Seol to contact Kim because he had defeated, stripped, and exiled them after their role in his own suffering. Seol eventually meets him at the ramen restaurant and asks only for a definitive answer, not forced forgiveness. Kim says he had intended never to forgive them, but changes his decision after the encounter and promises to return them to the Celestial Realm.
