Abhorrent Charity
Abhorrent Charity is the Parasites’ Third Army Commander, an Archlich created from a magician who pursued immortality. He specializes in necromancy, large-scale spellcraft, and teleportation, and dies buying the other commanders an escape from Haramark. An alternate version appears in the separate “what-if” scenario. (Chapters 90, 142, 177, 190, 243–244, 246)
Biography
Tigol Fortress
Abhorrent Charity joins the Parasite commanders’ offensive around Tigol Fortress, raising corpses, creating blood-and-flesh constructs, and helping manage captured Nests. The World Tree’s sacred influence weakens the evil energy on which these techniques depend, while the defenders’ destruction of corpses denies him material for further undead. These constraints force him and the other commanders to reveal divinity rather than win through an effectively renewable corpse army. (Chapters 149–150, 152)
Sacrifice at Haramark
At Haramark, Abhorrent Charity watches the allied counterattack overwhelm Unsightly Humility and Vulgar Chastity, then uses Divinity Manifestation and teleportation to send them far from the battlefield. Because he has not recovered enough to release divinity safely, the act leaves his own power out of control. He converts the collapse into an enormous self-destructive blast, but Seol Jihu overpowers it; Abhorrent Charity dies after securing the others’ escape. (Chapter 190)
Appearance and personality
He appears as a robed, tentacled undead figure rather than a living human magician. His dialogue is generally calm and analytical, and he studies unusual enemies instead of relying only on contempt. The corpus identifies his former pursuit of immortality but does not provide a fuller human biography, so the motives and circumstances behind his transformation into an Archlich remain unspecified. (Chapters 142, 177, 190)
Abilities and class
Abhorrent Charity is an all-round magician whose demonstrated repertoire includes necromancy, corpse and blood constructs, control of Nests, barriers, destructive energy, and long-range teleportation. He is singled out as the only Army Commander able to teleport. Divinity Manifestation amplifies his magic but becomes fatal when reused before recovery. “Archlich” describes his undead nature; no Earthling class or numbered level is given. (Chapters 92, 149–150, 152, 177, 190)
