Viridia

Viridia is the sole Hall Master of the Order of the Malefic Viper and its highest-ranking mortal administrator outside the special position of Chosen. Her long stewardship bridges the Order’s decline, the Viper’s return, and its renewed recognition as a peak multiversal faction.

Biography

From patient steward to expansion leader

Viridia maintained faith through generations of stagnation and was summoned when Snappy detected the Malefic Viper’s return. Overwhelmed by meeting her Patron, she nevertheless shifted quickly into political planning: Jake’s status as the Viper’s friend and Chosen threatened the old hierarchy but also created the opportunity to rebuild. She subsequently administered the Order around that new reality. (Chapters 46–54)

Viridia organized Jake’s Chosen ceremony, warned outside powers to respect the limits of his abilities, and managed the diplomacy and gifts surrounding his departure for Nevermore. After the Order recovered its prestige, she leveraged that authority to negotiate access to the Mycotic Depths and establish another Hall as an inter-universal headquarters. Her latest task confirms that she remains the Order’s principal mortal expansion leader. (Chapters 641–652, 875, 1077)

Appearance and personality

Viridia has green hair, glowing yellow eyes, and a strikingly inhuman beauty. She is outwardly dignified and politically capable, but the Viper and Jake can unsettle her composure: she is intensely reverent, anxious about protocol, and privately delighted when the Order’s restored status makes rival factions treat her as an equal. Viridia is an A-grade Verdant Witch and a descendant of the Ladies of the Verdant Lagoon. The corpus emphasizes her authority, knowledge, and administration more than named combat techniques. She can facilitate Order teleportation and operate its communication and diplomatic systems, but the mechanics of her witchcraft are not shown in enough detail to attribute specific spells. Her institutional power comes from speaking with the Order’s authority, negotiating entry allocations, organizing ceremonies, and coordinating high-grade members.
