Sven
Sven is Carmen’s appointed city leader, representing Valhal in diplomacy while commanding its Earth-based warriors in battle.
Biography
World Congress and the Treasure Hunt
Sven attends the World Congress because Carmen dislikes politics and trusts him to run the city she nominally leads. He conducts Valhal’s negotiations, joins Miranda’s reinforced Treasure Hunt group at Carmen’s call, and commands his party against vampires and the Cursed Monarch. A later dungeon costs three party members and leaves him badly injured, so Carmen gives him her completed key rather than leave him unable to enter the Seat of the Exalted Prima. When Valhal misjudges Earth’s factional crisis, Sven accepts responsibility without excuses, surrenders politically, and helps rebuild cooperation before leading Valhal’s defensive front against the Prima invasion. (Chapters 218–226, 283, 301–340, 452, 480, 532, 569–571, 934)
Appearance and personality
Sven is a large, burly man whose D-grade evolution leaves him nearly two and a half meters tall. The corpus does not establish hair or eye color. He is formal toward Carmen, comfortable with command, persistent in negotiation, and practical enough to accept humiliating political consequences when his superiors are wrong. His failure in the dungeon also shows that confidence does not make him careless about losses. (Chapters 218, 306, 452, 571)
Path, class, and abilities
Sven is a frontline warrior and leader rather than a fully described specialist. He rallies a powerful Valhal party, maintains formation against dangerous opponents, warns Carmen about major threats, and later organizes a smaller force so effectively that no Prima passes their section of the battlefield. His leadership is amplified by Valhal’s discipline and access to capable warriors. (Chapters 303–306, 327–337, 934)
His personal named skills and weapon mechanics are not identified. He is suppressed by the Cursed Monarch’s pressure, loses three companions in a difficult dungeon, and needs Carmen’s key to continue the system event, establishing that he is neither an apex solo fighter nor immune to costly mistakes. His latest confirmed strengths remain battlefield command and political administration. (Chapters 338, 452, 1000, 1054, 1068)

- Miranda Wells negotiates and fights alongside Sven. Their factions move from practical alliance through Valhal’s political failure and back toward cooperation after his apology.
- Priscilla is a fellow faction leader during the Treasure Hunt, coordinating a different contingent against the Cursed Monarch while Sven leads Valhal’s warriors.
