The Lord Protector greeted the Viper’s return with open emotion after eras spent guarding what remained of the Order, standing as the only surviving member who had personally known his master. He resumed his role as the faction’s defensive anchor and selected Sandy as his Chosen. During the false crisis at the Order, he organized hundreds of Hidden Ones around protecting members and the heart rather than chasing uncertain enemies. He then placed his own immense body between Primordial-4 and Valdemar’s forces, enduring repeated destruction of his heads until the Viper stopped the confrontation from escalating. Appearance and personality

His true form is a colossal Hydra with an effectively uncountable mass of heads at divine rank; the corpus does not establish a stable humanoid appearance. He is solemn and cautious in public, deeply emotional toward the returned Viper, and unwaveringly protective of the Order. The Lord Protector follows the Boundless Hydra progression, in which grade increases multiply heads: two at D-grade, nine at C-grade, one hundred at B-grade, one thousand at A-grade, and vastly more at higher ranks. This specialization makes him one of the Order’s strongest defensive assets, but not invulnerable or supreme.
