Irin

Irin is the Order administrator who becomes Jake’s handler, cultural adviser, and friend.

Biography

The Order and Earth’s first system event

Irin first managed Earth’s arriving Academy students and briefly considered whether Draskil might be the Viper’s Chosen. Jake’s token redirected her attention, after which she explained the Order’s rules and dangerous internal culture without disguising their risks. Her role expanded beyond orientation: she handled shops, schedules, etiquette, and political information, giving Jake a dependable route through institutions he had little patience for. (Chapters 401, 414, 416–417)

Draskil later brought Irin into a mushroom dungeon despite her warnings that her social profession made her a poor fighter. She nevertheless led the route, guarded the camp, cooked, and used a skill that seasoned otherwise toxic mushrooms. Repeated travel and administration turned her formal handler relationship with Jake into genuine friendship. By their Fourth Hell visit, the public knowledge that she accompanied a high-status Chosen was itself advancing her demonic Path, while she remained visibly overwhelmed by direct divine presences. (Chapters 498–503, 1080–1086)

Appearance and personality

Irin is an attractive succubus who usually favors revealing dress, though she later receives visitors in a conservative office-clerk outfit. The text does not fix her hair or eye color. She is socially perceptive, pragmatic, playful, and professionally candid; she explains hazards rather than pretending the Order is safe. Her composure has limits, as the aura of a powerful god nearly makes her faint. (Chapters 414, 1080, 1083)

Path, class, and abilities

Irin’s succubus Path develops through social standing, reputation, and proximity to influential figures. She explains that merely being near Jake is less important than others knowing she is near him, because fame and recognized access generate useful Records. The Fourth Hell therefore accelerates her progression, and she reaches level 302 in C-grade. This mechanism rewards visibility and connections rather than direct combat. (Chapters 1080–1081)

Her practical abilities include administration, information gathering, guidance, telepathy, and cooking. She can make toxic dungeon ingredients edible and useful, but repeatedly states that she is not an alchemist or strong combatant. She depends on fighters in dangerous environments and remains vulnerable to overwhelming auras; her latest strength is institutional and social competence rather than a hidden offensive breakthrough. (Chapters 498–503, 1083–1085)
