Draskil

Draskil is a Malefic Dragonkin and devoted follower of the Viper whose Path favors direct, poison-infused slaughter over alchemy or command.

Biography

The Order and Earth’s first system event

Draskil entered the Order after evolving from an unusual subterranean species into a Dragonkin close to the Viper’s Progenitor Records. He and Jake bonded over drinking, blunt conversation, and mutual dislike of mushrooms, then joined Irin and others in a dungeon where Draskil treated toxins as food and close combat as the simplest solution. He continued advancing as a fighter, led an additional Order party through Nevermore, and accepted that his lack of crafting talent hurt his Challenge Dungeon result. (Chapters 400, 433–434, 498–515, 664, 884)

Later, Draskil accompanied the Order to Earth while avoiding broader leadership responsibility. Against a peak C-grade enemy, a single Dragon’s Breath proved decisive; he subsequently fought the Golden Forest King with dark-green fire, malefic claws, and the advantage of higher levels. The match still suggested that the King would likely win at equal level, giving Draskil a clear benchmark rather than an unqualified victory. (Chapters 1113, 1158, 1207)

Appearance and personality

Draskil is a humanoid lizard-like Dragonkin with green scales, two wings, and a toothy grin. He is blunt, boisterous, combative, and sincerely devoted to the Malefic Viper. He prefers freedom and access to the Order’s resources over formal authority, and his established aversion to water contrasts comically with his willingness to consume dangerous poisons. (Chapters 400, 498, 1113, 1158)

Path, class, and abilities

His Malefic Dragonkin body provides exceptional physical strength, regeneration, poison resistance, wings, and close-range durability. He channels malefic energy through his claws, breathes concentrated dark-green fire, and can use his wings in sudden movement resembling a short-range flash. His body tolerates or profits from substances that would poison ordinary fighters. (Chapters 433–434, 501–515, 1158, 1207)

Draskil’s limitations follow the same specialization. He is not an alchemist, performs poorly in crafting-oriented challenges, and prefers direct engagements that a more versatile equal-level opponent can exploit. By the latest evidence he is a level-advantaged C-grade powerhouse, not an undefeated duelist or administrator. (Chapters 498, 884, 1113, 1207)

Relationships

  • Jake Thayne is Draskil’s drinking companion, dungeon ally, and friendly rival. Their shared Viper connection creates easy camaraderie without making either subordinate to the other.
  • Irin supplies the navigation and support Draskil lacks. He values her enough to bring a social specialist into a dangerous dungeon rather than dismissing noncombat skills.
  • Fallen King becomes a useful sparring opponent on Earth, exposing both Draskil’s overwhelming level-based pressure and the limits of his matchup at equal strength.
