Biography

The Tutorial and first Path

Ahmed began the Tutorial as one of the casters among Jake Thayne's coworkers. He initially lacked the range to contribute to their opening ambush and voluntarily carried the hunted animals afterward because he felt responsible for helping. As the group continued, he became its most accurate caster, joined Jacob's hunting party after the survivors entered Richard's camp, and evolved into a frost-attuned caster whose ice shards served both combat and camp needs. He was later killed by fighters from Hayden's opposing faction as William's manufactured conflict escalated. (Chapters 4–6, 11, 23, 28, 33)

Appearance and personality

The supplied chapters do not establish Ahmed's age, build, clothing, or distinct facial features. He is quiet and emotionally controlled enough that Jake cannot read his reaction during an argument.
