Yi Yukho is the official chairman of the Hero Association during the Orden and Baal crises. He presents himself as a pragmatic administrator, but secretly works with Kim Sukho and other power brokers until their manufactured Djinn incidents are exposed.

Biography

Chairman during the crises

Yukho participates directly in the Association's response to Orden, arguing that paying Black Lotus is preferable to losing the war and treating mercenaries as hunting dogs that must be fed. During Baal's rise, Jin Seyeon asks him for permission to enter Vassago's Colosseum. He tries to redirect her toward Orden and away from the Chameleon Troupe investigation, revealing that protecting the Association's priorities matters more to him than resolving the Kwang-Oh Incident. (Chapters 280–335)

Corruption exposed

After the war, Yukho remains the Association's public chairman while Sukho and Yoo Jangwon work behind the scenes. He joins their attempt to undermine Essence of the Strait, then attends the ceremony Yoo Yeonha turns into a public reckoning. Evidence identifies Yukho and Sukho as architects of Djinn incidents designed to preserve their authority. When they attempt to resist, Chae Nayun separates them with a magic greatsword and announces her arrest authority; both corrupt leaders are taken into custody. (Chapters 365–374)

Appearance and personality

Yi Yukho is an old, bald man. He is cautious when valuable Heroes may be wasted, but his language about hired fighters and his suppression of old investigations show a cynical, controlling view of the Association. He becomes furious rather than remorseful when exposed. (Chapters 280, 284, 335, and 373)

Gifts and abilities

No Gift, weapon, or combat technique is established for Yi Yukho. His authority comes from chairing the Hero Association and controlling its resources, documents, and deployments.

  • Kim Sukho: Yukho's political partner and fellow architect of the Association's corruption.
