Rumi
Rumi is a caretaker and infiltrator allied with Bell and Jin Sahyuk.
Biography
Tower companion and Orden spy
Rumi first supports Jin Sahyuk during the Tower of Wish, tending to her when she is injured and helping Bell's small group endure pursuit and escape. She is killed inside the Tower, where death does not permanently kill an outside entrant, and later returns to the world beyond it. During the campaign against Orden she undertakes a much colder assignment: infiltrating the monster kingdom, observing its palace and settlements, and passing information to the Heroes. Her reports and guidance help the reconnaissance force navigate an environment designed to deceive or convert humans. Bell later asks Hajin and Sahyuk to help change her mind on a personal decision, showing that the field operative remains part of their difficult makeshift family. Appearance and personality
Rumi is a woman whose practical composure suits both caregiving and covert work. She can be gentle with an injured companion yet disciplined enough to live under Orden's surveillance without exposing her purpose. (Chapters 200, 225–226, 276–288)
Gifts and abilities
No named Gift is established. She demonstrates infiltration, observation, survival, and clandestine communication, along with the nerve to guide other operatives through enemy territory. (Chapters 276–300)
Relationships
She is closely tied to Bell and Jin Sahyuk. Rumi cares for Sahyuk in the Tower, while Bell trusts her with dangerous work and later treats her choices as important enough to seek outside help. (Chapters 200–236, 315)
