Biography

A sword cultivator chosen for the Mifan lineage

Quwan’s branch of the Wang Family leaves the turmoil of Hidden East and settles in Floating South. Li Ximing selects him as a candidate for the Mifan Dao lineage and gives him the Xiaoshi Sky-Cleansing Scattered Cloud Art. Quwan has practiced the sword since childhood and formed Sword Qi, and he approaches the new role with measured loyalty rather than boastfulness. After breaking through to Foundation Establishment and cultivating the Floating Cloud Body, he becomes a key Wang representative; while he is away, his younger brother Wang Quyu manages the family’s affairs. (Chapters 1119, 1130, 1205–1206)

Quwan later returns to Jiangbei and reports rumors of a hidden palace to Ding Weizeng. The Li family sends him to represent them in its exploration; inside, he reaches a stone bridge, receives a box of water, and turns back when the way ahead disappears. He protects the badly injured Daoist Shouding on their escape, then returns to the lake for treatment. By Chapter 1286, he has recovered and is recognized as Dharma Protector Wang. Appearance and personality

Quwan has a plain appearance, carries a sword at his waist, and moves with a steady bearing. He addresses senior cultivators with respect and handles family affairs carefully, qualities that earn Li Ximing’s confidence. (Chapters 1119, 1130, 1286)

Abilities and cultivation

A sword cultivator from childhood, Quwan has formed Sword Qi, though he says Sword Essence remains beyond his reach. He breaks through to Foundation Establishment with the Floating Cloud Body, an Immortal Foundation associated with a Body Divine Ability and suited to artifact craft. Clouds swirl beneath his feet when he moves; the reach of this ability remains uncertain. (Chapters 1119, 1205–1206)
