Li Suikuan
Li Suikuan is a talented junior of the Yuanwan lineage and an affectionate companion of Suining. His loyalty helps Suining seize the chance to meet Minggong rather than remain trapped by their household’s older grievances.
Biography
Loyalty and a place at the lake
When Minggong is about to visit their shore, Suikuan secretly tells Suining, giving him time to seek an audience. Both boys are among the few talented cultivators in Yuanwan’s household. Suikuan has consistently sided with his older clansman despite Chengzai’s hostility toward Suining, and his immediate affection gives the anxious Suining a renewed reason for hope. Minggong takes them to the lake; Suikuan is delighted and frightened by his first flight. (Chapters 1606–1607)
Ximing notices Suikuan’s striking appearance among the assembled children. His apparent advantage has been enhanced by spirit materials that Chengzai obtained through personal connections and fed him from an early age, although the boys’ underlying talent is comparable. The family considers the Profound Origin Essence-Heart Technique for him. Suining later remains determined that Suikuan should not be burdened by the mistakes of their forebears. (Chapters 1609–1613 and 1687)
Appearance and personality
Suikuan smiles readily and puffs out his cheeks when speaking with Suining. He is clever and loyal to his older clansman; his excitement during his first flight is mixed with fear. (Chapters 1606–1607)
Abilities and cultivation
His Embryonic Breathing cultivation is supported by spirit materials procured by Chengzai. Ximing sees that this heavy supplementation makes him appear more outstanding than the other children. The Profound Origin Essence-Heart Technique is identified as a suitable inheritance to bestow on him, but that proposed allocation does not itself establish a new realm. (Chapters 1610 and 1613)
