Biography
Humiliation at Mount Huazhong sets his revenge in motion
At thirteen, Dengqi watched the Wan Family destroy the Ji household and humiliate his father. When his father died three days later, he charged Dengqi to avenge him. Dengqi took the family headship and answered the humiliation with relentless cultivation and violence. Later, he offered his younger sister’s service to a Golden Tang Gate heir in exchange for support, then treated her letter about the heir’s return as an opening to challenge the Wan Family’s defenses. He reached Qi Cultivation, but spent more than a decade unable to break Wan Huaqian’s legacy formation. (Chapter 67)

In the final battle, Dengqi is trapped by several opponents.
