Crimson Snake Battle Suit
The Crimson Snake Battle Suit is the line of Beyond Grade A mechanical suits that Han Xiao builds for Hila. Its ordinary form resembles a formal Black Star Army uniform, while its combat mode supplies the protection and support systems required for Hila's high-level battles.
History
A suit prepared for Hila
Han Xiao completes the first-generation Crimson Snake before Hila returns from her long journey and gives it to her as a personal gift. In its inactive state, it appears as a black, fitted officer's uniform with a high black-and-gold cape and the Black Star Army emblem. Hila wears it continually after receiving it, making the suit both her standard field equipment and a visual extension of her position as deputy army commander. (Chapter 1016)
Damage, replacement, and continued service
Crimson Snake enters combat mode during Hila's confrontation with Gorutan. After Hila reconstructs her body through her death-defying ability, an Army Emblem unfolds into another suit around her and its built-in dose of Aurora's life potion restores much of her strength. The armor is later badly damaged while Hila is surrounded by Arcane Church combatants, and Han Xiao supplies a fresh compressed replacement during the same battle. The recurring replacements show that Crimson Snake is a reproducible equipment line rather than one indestructible suit. Hila is still wearing a Crimson Snake mechanical suit during the World Tree War. (Chapters 1018, 1049–1050, and 1337)
Abilities and properties
- Uses nanomaterials and compression technology, allowing an Army Emblem or compressed orb to unfold into a full suit around Hila. (Chapters 1016, 1018, and 1050)
- Has an unobtrusive clothing mode and a separate combat mode that encloses Hila more completely and provides Beyond Grade A-grade performance. (Chapters 1016 and 1049)
- Can carry and automatically inject a dose of Aurora's life potion, rapidly countering the weakness that follows Hila's bodily reconstruction. The potion is a stored consumable produced from Aurora's power, not an innate function of the armor. (Chapter 1018)
- Can be worn down or destroyed by sufficiently powerful opponents, so Han Xiao keeps replacements available rather than treating any individual suit as irreplaceable. (Chapters 1049–1050)
