Vernina
Vernina is a veteran from Hannes's generation who joins his investigation into the hidden history of Planet Aquamarine. She is a Cannon Master with enough close-combat training to remain dangerous without relying only on firearms.
Vernina is not Verena. Vernina belongs to Planet Aquamarine's old era and works with Hannes, while Verena is a later Federation of Light Beyond Grade A support Esper.
Biography
Escape from Germinal and the Aquamarine War
Vernina answers Hannes's call and joins the investigation into erased history. When Han Xiao approaches the group, she fights him amid doubts about his identity and motives, receiving a gunshot wound to the shoulder before the misunderstanding is resolved. She remains suspicious of bringing Han into the inquiry but continues the mission with Hannes. After the war's decisive events, she leaves with him alive to pursue their investigation. Appearance and personality
Vernina is an older woman with golden hair, which she wears tied back, and is seen in a white cardigan. She is composed enough to continue operating after being shot and approaches unfamiliar allies with caution. Her suspicion of Han reflects professional wariness rather than panic.
