Ravenlaude

Ravenlaude, nicknamed Fox Arts, is an ancient Beyond Grade A Mage allied with the Crimson Dynasty. He possesses immense breadth of magical knowledge and leads the Arcane Institute, but his pride and pursuit of rewards draw him into a damaging contest with Han Xiao. In the current timeline he never owns the Spacetime Amber; that ownership is only Han's memory of the original history.

Biography

The Evolution Cube and Crimson Dynasty

Ravenlaude enters the story as an Ancient One with a long-standing dislike of Aesop and keeps Han at a distance because of that association and their competing interests in the Garu Star Cluster. When the Arcane Church attacks Planet Lighthouse, he arrives among the dynasty's reinforcements, helps Milizaus lay spacetime-blocking magic traps, and joins the pursuit that follows. He later volunteers for the multinational operation against EsGod, contributes sober tactical warnings about the target's doppelgangers, and insists that Han honor the promised Evolution Cube access after EsGod is captured. His conduct establishes him as a capable but transactional dynasty ally rather than a personal friend of Black Star. (Chapters 801, 840, 850, 856, 865, 887, 891–892, and 896)

The Flickering World

As a senior dynasty celebrity, Ravenlaude is offered a Universal Treasure to secure the Primal Chaos Mysterious Energy. He pursues it confidently, only to collide with Han's remote mechanical army after Black Star captures the entity first. Ravenlaude unleashes his broad spell repertoire, summons his Mage Pagoda, and damages or disables large numbers of machines, but the Apostle Weapons defeat him without Han's main body being present. He survives badly wounded, loses the promised reward, and receives only compensation for his damaged equipment. The defeat embarrasses him and proves that Han's growth has crossed a new threshold. References to Ravenlaude owning the Spacetime Amber describe Han's previous-life timeline and do not establish present possession. (Chapters 836, 994–995, and 1030–1036)

Intelligent Plague and the Association

While still recovering, Ravenlaude joins a dynasty reinforcement force responding to the attack on Hila. He initially weighs the mission in terms of compensation and the favor Han might owe him, but then urges the fleet to hurry because every second places Hila in greater danger. Han resolves the crisis before they arrive, yet Ravenlaude completes the deployment, opens the teleportation route, and helps block Beast Ancestor's fleet. Han credits his relay work and says he owes him a favor, easing the immediate resentment left by their duel. Ravenlaude is later directly present in the dynasty task force investigating Gaud's disappearance, which is his last confirmed activity in the corpus. (Chapters 1048, 1056–1058, and 1231)

Appearance and personality

The corpus gives no stable description of Ravenlaude's species, face, or clothing. He commonly carries a magic staff in battle. Mocking, proud, and disinclined to network, he holds grudges but remains strategically sensible: he can acknowledge Han's superiority, distinguish a fair loss from theft, and cooperate when dynasty interests or adequate rewards justify it. Abilities and class

Ravenlaude is a Beyond Grade A Mage and member of the Ancient Ones. His long life has given him knowledge of countless spells, while the Arcane Institute researches and invents more for him. He specializes in flexible spell combinations, including arcane barrages, healing, summoning, teleportation, magic puppets, colossi, and large-area spacetime interference. His Mage Pagoda brings him to full combat output, enabling him to maul Han's mechanical army even though he ultimately loses. His potential is stated to have plateaued below peak Beyond Grade A. Relationships

• Han Xiao: Ravenlaude begins distant, later assists Han against EsGod, and then competes with him for the Primal Chaos Mysterious Energy. The mechanical-army defeat creates resentment, but their subsequent cooperation remains functional. (Chapters 840, 887–896, and 1030–1058)
• Milizaus: Both are Ancient Ones and dynasty-allied Mages, but conflicting magical beliefs keep their relationship cool. They nevertheless cooperate in spacetime sealing and major operations. (Chapters 840, 856, 865, and 891–892)
• EsGod: Ravenlaude helps design and execute the operation that captures him, motivated partly by Han's promised access to the Evolution Cube. (Chapters 887–896)
• Beyoni: They serve together as dynasty reinforcements at Planet Lighthouse and again during the response to Hila's crisis. (Chapters 850–856 and 1048–1057)
• Clotti: Ravenlaude serves under Clotti's temporary command on the dynasty task force investigating Gaud's disappearance. (Chapter 1231)

Ravenlaude's principal equipment is a summonable crystal Mage Pagoda, a staff, spellbooks, magic puppets, and colossi. The pagoda and staff are heavily damaged in his defeat by Han's army, and the dynasty agrees to cover repair costs. None of these objects has a separate article in the supplied inventory.
