Lu Cheng

Lu Cheng is the warlord who controls Black Pine, the estranged son of Old Man Lu, and the father of Lu Qian. His conflict with Alumera brings him into contact with Han Xiao, whose intervention turns a local territorial struggle into an alliance and ultimately moves Lu Cheng's people into Sanctuary Three.

Biography

Escape from Germinal and the Aquamarine War

Lu Cheng is first identified through his strained family history, having left his young daughter with Old Man Lu before becoming a South Continent wanderer warlord. He later leads Black Pine's armed force against Alumera-controlled Green Valley Ville but hesitates when its defenders use refugees as expendable troops. Han Xiao offers help, enabling Lu Cheng to take the settlement and establishing a cautious friendship between them. After Alumera repeatedly retaliates against Black Pine, Han Xiao settles the feud and persuades Lu Cheng that isolated warlord rule has no future after the war. Lu Cheng consequently migrates his people to Sanctuary Three and contributes funds, labor, and defenses to the new city. (Chapters 23, 155–169, 197, 202, 231, and 290–293)

Appearance and personality

The corpus does not establish a detailed physical description for Lu Cheng. He is usually serious and cautious, but his actions show restraint unusual for a territorial warlord: he warns refugees away from battle and hesitates to slaughter them even when doing so would be militarily convenient. He is protective of Black Pine, suspicious of unexplained favors, and pragmatic enough to accept Han Xiao's help and later abandon an increasingly untenable position. (Chapters 155–163 and 290–293)

Abilities and class

No Super class or personal supernatural ability is established for Lu Cheng. His power is organizational: he commands trained soldiers, armored vehicles, weapon production, warehouses, workshops, and an experimental laboratory. He also employs a machinery-engineering consultant and directs a sizable settlement economy. A Chapter 158 line that momentarily prints “Lu Cheng” while describing kinetic-energy release occurs in the fight against Liu Cheng and is a name error, not evidence that Lu Cheng possesses that Esper ability. Relationships

• Lu Qian: Lu Qian is Lu Cheng's daughter. He left her in Old Man Lu's care when she was very young, and the corpus does not show a direct reunion between them.
• Old Man Lu: Lu Cheng and his father are estranged over Lu Cheng's decision to abandon domestic life and become a warlord. Despite their near-stranger relationship, Old Man Lu continues helping him indirectly through an engineering consultant and intended blueprints.
• Han Xiao: Han Xiao intervenes on Lu Cheng's side at Green Valley Ville, later ends Alumera's retaliation, and offers his people a place in Sanctuary Three. Lu Cheng moves from distrust of Black Phantom's motives to practical cooperation.
• Frenzied Sword and Bun-Hit-Dog: The two players assist Lu Cheng during the Green Valley Ville conflict under Han Xiao's direction, earning rewards from the warlord.
