Hilbert

Hilbert Mueller is a historical peak Beyond Grade A spatial Esper who once served as the Arcane Church's pillar. After disappearing during secondary-dimension exploration and later being revived through the Sanctums, he seeks retirement from compulsory civilization service.

Biography

The World Tree War

Hilbert is revived as a former direct member of the Arcane Church whose old position had already passed to a successor. He asks Han Xiao and the universal civilizations to recognize that death has completed his obligation and even offers to surrender his restored life rather than remain bound. When Han promises unlimited revival to war participants, Hilbert accepts the bargain and fights the World Tree's high-level officers. After victory, he concludes that he no longer owes his former civilization and leads other revived direct members into the newly established Supers Holy Land, where Han accepts them. (Chapters 1349–1352, 1358, and 1445–1446)

Appearance and personality

The corpus gives no stable description of Hilbert's body, face, or clothing. He carries an aloof senior bearing and negotiates calmly, using a willingness to risk his second life as leverage. His later decision shows that personal independence and reliable revival matter more to him than old institutional loyalty. (Chapters 1349–1352 and 1445)

Abilities and class

Hilbert is a peak Beyond Grade A Esper whose ability is related to space. He once served as an Arcane Church pillar and fights World Tree Executive Officers, senior Holy Tree Emissaries, and Ancestral Spirits after revival. The supplied scenes do not name individual techniques or define the full scope of his spatial power. (Chapters 1349 and 1358)

Relationships

  • Han Xiao: Hilbert negotiates his post-revival freedom with Han, accepts Han's unlimited-revival war offer, and later joins the civilization Han establishes. (Chapters 1349–1352 and 1445)
  • Garoze: Both are revived in the same gathering, though Garoze returns to the current association while Hilbert initially speaks for historical direct members seeking release. (Chapters 1349–1351)
  • Clotti: Hilbert is part of the older Arcane Church generation whose presence makes current direct members such as Clotti confront their predecessors. No close personal bond between them is established. (Chapters 1349–1352)

Items

Hilbert formerly held an unnamed Arcane Church national weapon before it passed to a successor. The corpus does not establish it as a current possession or provide a separate inventory article. (Chapter 1349)
