Hayleen

Hayleen is one of the World Tree's 13 Ancestral Spirits, a stealth and assassination specialist offered the vacant Tree King crown if she kills the Pivotal Snake. Her attempt instead accelerates the snake's maturation and exposes the World Tree's location.

Biography

The World Tree War

Ancestral Tree King recruits Hayleen because her mutated Warlock magic can conceal her existence. Equipped with World Tree poison and a stealth treasure, she avoids confronting Black Star directly and contaminates likely feeding dimensions instead. The Pivotal Snake consumes one trap, but Han Xiao saves it by turning it into a virtual life; this causes it to mature and locate the World Tree. Han traces the operation back to Hayleen, defeats her attempted escape, and seals her in Spacetime Amber. The cut mental connection confirms her captivity, not her death. (Chapters 1429 and 1431–1434)

Appearance and personality

Hayleen is a woman with leaf-like jade-green skin, long white hair, and a complex mark on her forehead. She wears a gorgeous robe. Ambitious enough to seek a Tree King crown but wary of Black Star, she prefers low-risk indirect assassination and hesitates when ordered toward probable death. (Chapters 1429 and 1431–1433)

Abilities and class

Hayleen is a powerful Mage whose mutated genes fused with her magic and produced a rare Warlock branch. Her innate spells conceal her existence, while her demonstrated magic includes teleportation, instantaneous attacks, and following spatial traces. Her stealth is exceptional but cannot hide her from Han, and she is decisively weaker than a Transcendent. (Chapters 1429 and 1431–1433)

Relationships

  • Ancestral Tree King: He offers Hayleen a path to the vacant crown, supplies the assassination tools, and monitors her through the World Tree mental network. (Chapters 1429 and 1433–1434)
  • Han Xiao: Hayleen avoids approaching him, but he detects, defeats, and seals her after using her poison attack to accelerate the Pivotal Snake's growth. (Chapters 1431–1434)
  • Pivotal Snake: Hayleen targets the World Tree's natural enemy with distributed poison traps; the attack fails and indirectly helps it mature. (Chapters 1429 and 1431–1434)
  • Mother Tree: The Mother Tree guides Hayleen toward the snake and creates the specialized poison, but loses its location advantage when the plan backfires. (Chapters 1429 and 1433–1434)

Items

Hayleen receives the Snake-killing agent and the Leaf Concealment Robe, a child treasure derived from the Mother Tree that strengthens concealment across multiple levels. Both are mission equipment, and neither has a separate supplied inventory article. (Chapters 1429 and 1431–1433)
